3-Jaw Self-Centering Chucks
Turn the chuck key to move all three jaws together. These manual scroll chucks center round, hexagonal and regular workpieces. Choose the mounting type from the lathe spindle nose: plain back, Type A, Type C or Type D.

Which mounting type fits your lathe?
- Plain back: use a back plate that matches the spindle nose and the chuck mounting dimensions.
- Type A: uses a short-taper mounting interface. Check the spindle taper and mounting bolt pattern.
- Type C: uses the stud-and-locknut mounting interface shown on its product page.
- Type D: uses a short-taper camlock mounting interface. Check the camlock studs and spindle size.
